Festival organizers said more than 1.5 million people attended – shattering the previous record of 1.3 million.

This is one of our biggest festivals. It is supposed to be Greek, but aside from the Greek restaurants, some performances, and the street signs, it’s more multicultural.

You do have to look for the Greek culture. This year, you can join the attempt to set a record for the longest Zorba-the-Greek dance at 1:30 pm, August 10. Look for the Astro Original Greek Yogourt Stage and the largest Greek Yogourt Bowl.

This bowl should be five-feet tall and hold over 1,300 pounds of yogourt. You can try to win a free trip to Greece.
