Google has just officially announced its much-anticipated Pixel phones; the Pixel and Pixel XL. The Pixel has a 1,920 x 1,080 display, and the Pixel XL has a higher-resolution 2,560 x 1,440 display. Both phones have aluminum and glass backs and a fingerprint sensor just below the rear camera.
The Google Pixel phone, manufactured by HTC, comes in an anodized royal-blue color as well as black and silver.

Google is bragging about the 12.3-megapixel camera, The Pixel and Pixel XL are the first two phones to serve as both the brains and display of Google’s $79 Daydream View. The overall design for the Pixel then is another take on the rounded glass and aluminum designs we have seen in multiple phones over the years. The back of the phone uses both materials; the top-half (including the fingerprint sensor) is glass, while the bottom half is aluminum.
