A powerful and versatile trombonist as well as a prolific composer and lyricist, Bosch is continuously re-inventing this genre of music, drawing on its rich and diverse roots. He describes his unique brand of salsa as “tropical music with a New York edge.

Ralph Irizarry

Born in New York’s Spanish Harlem to Puerto Rican parents, Irizarry had the chance to play with such well known groups as La Terriffica, El Gran Combo & Sonora Ponceña when his family returned to Puerto Rico. Back in New York, Ralph caught the attention of the legendary Ray Barretto, with whom he made five recordings. Irizarry has recorded and performed with David Byrne, Paul Simon, Harry Belafonte, Juan Luis Guerra, Cachao, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Ruben Blades y Seis Del Solar with whom he recorded and toured internationally for thirteen years.
