This is an exciting time to be a Liberal. From February 20 to 23, we will be gathering in Montreal for our Biennial Convention – and I hope you will consider attending.
This convention is a key milestone on the road to the next federal election, which is drawing closer every day.
When we gather in Montreal, Liberals – from Victoria to St. John’s and from Iqaluit to Windsor – will have one priority: to get ready.

Get ready to offer Canadians new, accountable leadership with an exciting and experienced team.
Canadians are yearning for something new, something better.
Canadians deserve better leadership.
We need leadership that brings us together.
We need leadership that believes in a Canada that offers success to all of its citizens; a Canada where people who work hard can look forward to a decent standard of living and better prospects ahead for themselves and their children; a Canada where the middle class not only supports a growth agenda, but experiences the prosperity it creates first-hand.
The Liberal Party of Canada is committed to undertaking meaningful consultations and working with Canadians to build a policy platform that reflects their priorities, concerns and solutions. This means reaching out, as broadly as possible, to ensure that our plan effectively addresses the economic pressures facing Canadian families and creates the conditions for a thriving middle class.
That is why we will bring together subject matter experts and Canadians from coast to coast to coast, in Montreal, to confront the economic challenges we are facing, and develop solutions for a progressive and prosperous future.
