The new [highlight]Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada[/highlight] will educate, inspire and entertain thousands of Canadians and visitors to Canada when it opens in the summer of 2013. The main attraction will be thousands of marine animals who will soon be calling Toronto home. It is our job is to ensure these creatures are welcomed and cared for in a way that meets the highest animal-welfare standards in the world.
Now Open, the brand-new Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada will be an extraordinary destination for millions of Torontonians and visitors to our great city. Ripley Entertainment Inc., a part of The Jim Pattison Group from Vancouver, British Columbia, brings us this world-class attraction to the heart of downtown Toronto, next to the CN Tower.
The Aquarium is a 12,500 square-metre (135,000 square-foot) awe-inspiring attraction with more than 5.7 million litres (1.5 million gallons) of water depicting marine and freshwater habitats from around the world.
Guests will view over 15,000 animals, including fan favourites such as sharks, jellies, rays, and green sea turtles.
